I tried to make a VLOG about NYC, but… KIDS.

I tried to make a VLOG about NYC, but…

Well, yeah – KIDS.

I am discovering I need to step up my vlog game or Lucy may end up stealing all my glory.

Or something.

Since I didn’t get to really tell you about NYC in my video, I want to share with you pictures of some food I ate.

BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT BLOGGERS DO.

We take pictures of our food because.

BECAUSE.

And when one goes to NYC, one should never return home without filling one’s belly with TWO things…

Falafel from a street vendor:

falafel

And pizza by-the-slice:

pizza face?

I have titled that picture, “Pizza Face”… for obvious reasons.

Have you ever been to NYC? What are your must-eat recommendations? Because I am totes going back.

Someday…

Ummm…LOVE that kid. I mean, love you too, but that’s just pretty darn cute if I do say so myself :) Except I hate wiggly teeth…you’re gonna have to start putting a disclaimer if there’s going to be live-action tooth wigglin’….just sayin’. :)

  2. This may just be my favorite video ever! Love it. So glad I had a chance to hang with you this weekend!

Oh my gosh! We need to see you. She looks all grown up.
    Too much time.
Now you have waited so long, I did it. I turned 40.

Love that you are back and you survived the NY heat!
I know of what you speak.

  4. Jen says:

You know what, I did not eat enough street vendor food while I was in NYC. That is a cryin’ shame.

  5. Elizabeth says:

I had great street food on Sunday in NYC! Man I totally missed the hair chalk. My 11 year old great nieces would have loved that.

  6. Kat says:

I did not eat ANY street vendor food while I was there. Wanna go back and grab a hotdog with me?

  7. Amy says:

I miss your face, funny jokes and glitter spray.

Hi Jenny, my daughters would disagree. Whining does sometimes get you what you want. I know. Sad, but true.

  9. Love that girl. What is it with wobbly teeth? Maddie wobbled hers so much on vacation that the waiters were chasing her with the bread tong-thingie, threatening to pull it out.

    She loved the attention.

I was too busy eating to take a picture of it. Bad blogger.

And yes, whining does sometimes get you what you want, if only because mom wants you to STOP. IT. Because, seriously.
    I don’t speak Whinese.

  10. So funny. Also I can’t decide if I’m saving the hair chalk for Piper’s Christmas stocking or not… I kinda sorta really want to use it on myself slash her like now so… maybe not? It looks so fun!
