Well I did it!
I have checked 2 items off of my Christmas list. Thanks to an American Express gift card…
1) I went local! Don’t tell my kids, but Santa will be bringing one of them a unicycle this Christmas. INDEED! Now if we only had a unicycle lane in town…
There is a local bike shop (Silverdale Cyclery) that provides the school districts with their unicycles… and since my daughter is learning how to ride a unicycle in a fun school p.e. program… we Santa decided to get her one. And Santa lucked out with 20% off when we he shopped local the weekend after Thanksgiving.

So. One gift bought local… another bought online… I am feeling sooooo Renaissance right now! It feels good to get a couple things marked off the list.
