Ever been pecked to death?
Me… neither?
Yes, this is an old video. But I feel this topic is timeless.
And I am in a bit of a funk… working hard to view the glass half-full and such. Feeling a lot like a Negative Nellie.
If your name is Nellie… my amends. I’m sure you are not negative.
But maybe my alter ego is not named J-Bling. Maybe her name is Nellie.
Dunno.

No kids for me. But two nieces. And God knows, one can handle hearing, “Hey, Aunt Carrie…know what? Aunt Carrie…hey, guess what. Hey, you know what?” just so many times before wanting to lick an outlet.

Someday they’ll get it – buts somebody has to go down with them.

Yeah. I’m still not sure if I was or wasn’t laughing… or if it was J-Bling or Nellie. If it’s not the children it’s the alter-egos!

I understand completely only, at this time in my life, the name is “Nana” … that’s my name – don’t wear it out – yeah right, that’s not gonna happen!

Haha I just laughed so hard. My kids are a partially disabled mom and older brother plus TONS of pets and lemmetellya, I get reaaaaalllly sick of hearing my name. And they never understand why I get so frustrated that I have no time, or in dealing w them. lol My mom thinks it’s hilarious calling ME mom. Or “momma Kim.”
The hubs and I say this all the time. “I’m being pecked to death by chickens” has become one of those things we say. If we attempt to talk via phone (yes, actually TALK on the phone) for a little mid-day chat… I usually have to end it b/c the pecking begins once I pick up the phone. But no, it doesn’t stop there- the pecking goes on throughout the day.
While I was watching your video my kids came over to watch too. Then one of them said, “Hey! We do that too!”
