Your startup disk is almost full: In which I ramble aimlessly-ish

I’m in one of those moods where I feel the need to write my brains out, but everything is so jumbled I have absolutely nothing to write about.

It’s like thought constipation.

It’s like having way too much stuff on your computer.

startup disk full“You need to make more space available on your startup disk by deleting files.”

Don’t get me wrong… I am NOT comparing my brain to a computer.

Oh heavens no.

We know how I am with math and logic.

Speaking of logic, I have no smooth transition, so here’s my next thought:

I am very excited that school is over … you know, so the kids can get back to fighting with each other full time.

I like the change that summer brings. It poses certain unique challenges, but also brings relief from schedule.

Read: Though I am typically a fairly early-riser… I don’t HAVE to rise early to make sure my middle schooler is up and getting ready for school.

I also like fruit. I am excited for more fruit. Summer is good for more fruit.

And iced coffee.

Speaking of files…(?) I have about 3 gigs of 5th grade photo booth photos to sort and share with some very eager parents. The word “edit” was brought up. I’m thinking editing might compromise my startup disk. On a figurative AND literal level.

I think that would be a funny way to say no to someone, “I’m sorry. My startup disk is almost full.”

Speaking of avoidance… I’m going to go watch the last episode of The Bachelorette that I missed and thumb through my new Real Simple magazine.

Real simple.

Heh.

That’s funny.

Simple.

Heh heh heh heh heh.

Peace.

Sparkles.

Love.

Unicorns.

Fabric softener.

Avoidance.
