What do you want to be when you grow up?
I asked my 5 year old this question yesterday.
I watched as she thought carefully about her answer…
A servant.
OK… that’s, that’s… noble…
Wait wait wait. No. A maaaaid.
Really? I didn’t tell her but I thought, “Then girl, you are going to STARVE.”
Um wait… No…. A MOM! I want to be a MOM!!!
So, I thought she’d better get cracking and I set her loose to do the dishes…
Which, she is rather familiar with… because here is a picture of her doing the dishes 2 years ago.
It’s not child labor if they WANT to do it, right?

My little pumpkin loves to do the dishes too. And use as much dish soap as possible. every. damn. time.

Your daughter can be besties with my daughter, because it’s obvious she’ll be a good influence and my dish-life will improve – but when your adorable son grows up, you and I have to be on hiatus…..because I have three adorable daughters that he will hit on. Just sayin’.
Just watched your About Me video – LOVED. I had braces in adulthood too….LOL. Age 23-25! And I see coffee is also your crack. I’ll be your dealer at BlogHer.

I agree..it is NOT child labor if they want to do it…and it’s not stalking if you are sure you are perfect for that man….I mean..nevermind.
