Foodie Friday: When Mom's Away…

It has been a busy week. It was so busy, one might think I was a bee.

Bzzzzz….

At this posting, I should be red-eyed and and smell like an airline. My flight to Asheville (1 stop) left at 10:30 in the p.m. and should arrive in the No. Carolinas around 6 in their a.m. and then to my final destination by 9 a.m.

*rubs eyes*

I have not had time to cook for video-purposes, so instead (but keeping with the “foodie” theme)… I want to ask for input. For ideas. But you have to watch.

So. What say you?

Also, since voting season is fast-approaching, I thought… being that I am so focused on your best interest and not my own *ahem* I would help you get into the spirit of voting! Right now, I stand at #2 for Best Parenting Blog in Western Washington (go regional competitions!!!). Now, #2… in my season of life (mom), it means poop. Let’s just say “NO!” to poop, AND practice voting all in one fell swoop! Just click on the link below and…

You could also vote for Carrie of Stop Screaming, I’m Driving or Wendy of Let the Dog In (and fellow Mom Squad-er!) — they are both my peeps, and worth of acclaim as well. I just had to mention them. If I have to be #2, I would only want to be #2 for them. Uh…

*blinking*

Furious… that doesn’t help me. And they are on my ears. Sheesh. Men.
    Once cluttered – Thanks sweetie!

  4. Holy shit, I’m supposed to prepare meals for my family before I leave them???
    Oops.

I’m guessing they are living on popcorn and hot dogs while I’m back in the States right now, and they’re left in Wales.
Cause there’s no fast food in Hay.

(Actually, I did leave a stocked refrigerator for them, but nothing actually cooked. Pizza, chicken breasts (wrapped in bacon). Garlic bread loaves. Canneloni. Oh, yeah. And hot dogs. And popcorn)

Hey! Why wasn’t I chosen for the top parenting Blog? *pouts*.
I will totally go now and vote for you, my friend:)

I am NEVER away from my family. Ugh. and Yay. Mostly I never get a break- UGH.
Maybe one day you can take me on a conference trip:) *blinks prettily*. They would probably eat bread every day. Cause I don’t allow it in the house cause it could hurt me bad. And I’m a Mean Mommy:)
