I can check another item off my bucket/life list:

I was talking to Stacey today. An aside: She is breaking the hearts of people for miles around because she and her family are moving to Portland andhowwillweevergoonwithouther???!!!

Don’t mess. Our friend Andrea had b-day scavenger hunt… and we were a team. We were intimidating the competition. Our team name? TEAM LIQUID NAILS.

Aaanywho. She was telling me about the time she played celebrity charades with some friends… and then I, in my usual never-thinking-of-myself tone I added, “OOOH! My life goal is to one day be a celebrity so someone can play me in celebrity charades!”
AND YOU KNOW WHAT SHE SAID???
“OH MY GOSH YOU WERE!”
And I was all, “Nuh-uh!”
And she was all, “Uh-HUH!”
Apparently some very smart, savvy, attractive person at that party added my humble, meek name to that bowl-o-celeb names.
Now I just need my EGOT.
I just wish I had been there to see who had to act me out. So I could apologize.
Unrelated,
I made a hedgermelon!
That Pinterest has me making watermelons into hedgehogs.

Hi Jenny! Totally random connection, here…but your husband (obviously just as much of a guitar nerd as MINE) bought an amp from my hubby a few weeks ago. At the time, I was taking pictures of our dinner and explained that I had just started a food blog. He was like, “My wife is a blogger!” At the time, you were at the BlogHer convention…SPEAKING. Ohmyword, I felt so cool to have the significant other of a BlogHer speaker IN MY HOUSE!!
When I first checked out your site, I read in your “About Me” (I think) that you liked comments and it made me feel half-way normal. I’m NOT some crazy narcissist. Sure, I like writing and am excited about food/baking/nutrition…but I.LOVE.COMMENTS!!
