BlogHer10: New York City!
Start spreadin’ the news…. I’m leavin’ today…
Literally.
By the time this posts, I should be on a jet plane to The Big Apple.
<— This dress is packed. And I still don’t know if I have the nerve to wear her. In case you can’t tell from the picture – that is a DRESS OF SEQUINS. And she is my heart dress and she may be out of my league.
While in the NYC I will be working on a quest.
While there I will be shacking up with Amy and Jyl and Krista.
While there, I will be pinching myself to see if I am dreaming.
I have packed a box of bandaids because I will be in NEW YORK and “sensible shoes” did not make the packing list.
You can NEVER accuse me of not keeping my priorities in order.
While there I will be sleep deprived.
When I came back from BlogHer last year — it took me TWO weeks to recover. #truestory
While there, I will run on Broadway (I’m lookin’ at you, Trainer Momma!) — Tutus for Tanner!
While there I will be wearing these… but not when I run. Well, unless it’s to a party.
Update from yesterday (in case you were wondering), my back-end (heh) is back in working order. And my son sent me this note mid-yesterday’s-crisis… of course he sneaked off with my phone to do it…
I love my boy.

Wear the dress! It is sooooo NOT out of your league! God, how I miss NYC: Enjoy every minute of it. Oh, and if by chance you can stop at Bagel Maven b/4 you fly back, could you pick up 2 scallion cream cheese on a mish for me and my husband. It was his fave when working in the city. Sooo yummy, I guess bring 3 and a plain plain for the kids too. (Ana won’t go near a scallion on a mish but she does miss her bagels).
Of course you will have the fabulous of times and I cannot wait to hear all about it!!
Eee! I get to see you again! Woo hoo!
If you DON’T wear that dress, shoes and necklace, I will never speak to you again. That’s not true, cuz I would die if I couldn’t talk to you. But that is my favorite outfit that we packed! You must wear it! and I love you and miss you.
