Running
This should post at 7:00 a.m. PST. That is one half-hour before the start time for the Seattle Half Marathon…
And I will be there, beneath the clouds and “shadow” of the Space Needle. Running in some manner of run-ness. I may will Tweet. I may Whrrl.
Right now I should be in bed. It’s 10:14. I have to get up at 3:50.
Made out of not smart.
My oatmeal is made (will reheat it in the morning). The coffee is set to go. I have my Gu and electrolyte tabs packed… My crazy? Got that too. I never leave home without that. I have a bit of a sore throat and feel I am on the verge of getting more sick.
But I will “run”.
Wish me luck. I ate a donut for dinner. Ummm… maybe couldya wish me luck again?

I should be asleep… but no. I blog and screw around to nab a pre-race pic in Photo Booth. Priorities people. I am a blogger first.

Oh, good luck today! I admire you for even trying this. It’s not on my radar one bit. I once did a walk for charity, but the operative word there is WALK. Still sore afterwards.
I know for a fact that donuts are the true power food, not oatmeal. Just sayin’.
Have fun!
Good luck! Don’t forget your crazy… <3
Wow – my hat is off to you (since I don’t run unless someone is chasing me). A half marathon is amazing! Best of luck!
Good Luck! Have Fun! Hope you don’t get ‘more’ sick!
I’d wish you luck but I’m a tad bit late for that….I see via Twitter that you’ve already completed your run. My hats off to you – I can only aspire to be a 1/2 marathon runner.
One day – that’s the next thing up on my ‘To-Do’ list.
Congrats!
Hey Jenny,
hope you did well…good for you! We walked aroud Clear Creek (the nursery) not the trail today for excercise!
So my husband was looking through my blog (because I MADE him) and he read my comments on my posts then clicked on yours and saw your blog video in which he said, “Hey, I know that guy!” Apparently they ride the ferry together to Seattle?? Anyway, I told him to go introduce himself since he’s also a Vin. parent and he looked at my like I was asking him to break some big code of commuter rules.
Have a great recovery from your run! -Andrea
You probably should have had 2 donuts. You need your energy!
Hope it went well!!
I want to Run my First Marathon In 2010. I found a program by Marrius Bakken, which I found on you tube which looks pretty promising….He takes you through 100 days of training for the big race….For those interested in running their first marathon run this is the product to get….
