In Honor of Learning Something New Every Day: The Perfect Tease
I spent the big bucks.
I didn’t get a dollar store bumpit. I don’t mess around, people. If I’m gonna get a bumpit, I am gonna get THE BUMPIT. Yeah – As. Seen. On. TV, yo.
If a girl is gonna go large, she needs to GO LAHHHHHHRRGE.
Actually, I used the medium sized bumpit. But it felt large to me.
Did I just call myself fat?
But I had no idea. I am child of the 80′s. One would think I’d have an intuitive sense when it comes to high hair.
Indeed. An acid-washed denim jacket too.
But back then, I really only understood bang height.
I never. I just. I was so young. So naive. So… comparably flat.
Lucky for me and you, and you, and you… and even YOU… our teacher… the YouTube, the chief educator of society along with “Jerseylicious” (“I have no idea what that means…”, her frail voice wavers as she reaches for her cane…) has given us the way to attaining The Perfect Cheer Tease. Now I see.
The blind sees… And in my defense, how could I miss it. Our poor ozone layer…

I am so behind the game here. My husband is even from Jersey and he didn’t clue me in on this. Thank you for the bevy of knowledge that you have imparted on me oh-all-seeing-all-knowing-Jenny-On-The-Spot. Where would I be without you?
Oh, lady…from one Bumpits owner to another, it makes me laugh to think what the ladies behind you in that top photo are thinking as it looks like they’re zoning in on that awesome stack of hair!
Yeeeeah, I’m gonna have to pass on this particular style. I just cannot bring myself to inhale that much hairsrpray. And I really don’t need to be making anything on my body bigger…my butt has that covered.
OMG–first of all-that jacket is classic! Second of all–I LOVE it–bigger is better and I KEEP waiting for the 80′s to come back in style because this girls hair can get HUGE! We used to have “hair” parties in college where me and my fellow curly haired girlfriends would tease and curl and turn our heads upside down to achieve big hair–who KNEW it was so easy with a 1/2 can of hairspray!? thanks for the laugh!
Wow, that Jersey commercial is so random it hurts my head. The bumpit is super cute and one of my friends has it and makes it work. The bumnpit does not bother me and it looks good on you but man… I am not ready for big hair.
