I know, I know.

The topic of immunizations can be a pretty touchy subject.

I am not here to evangelize the flu shot cause.

Nope.

Do whatcha gotta do, families.

Rather, I am here, along with my children,  for those who decide shots are the right choice for them… to give hope to the fearful.

    That was awesome!! We are heading in for our flu shots tomorrow, and yes the thought is so much worse than the actual shot.

    I’m not a big fan of shots, but now that I have a kid of my own, I suck it up and show her that they’re not so bad. We both had our flu shots this year and she flinched less than I did. She’s tougher than me in a lot of respects ;)

    I agree. Licking tables is never a wise move. Thanks for another laugh. Even my lil’ kiddos got a chuckle outta this one, Jenny. Stay flu-free and watch out for that superfluous, chewed gum out there. :)

    Yep. Don’t lick people or eat gum off the sidewalk. Good lessons to live by.

    My kids fear the shots. With my daughter, we have screaming, crying and pinning down by multiple adults. This year, after all that, she looks up and says, “huh. that’s it?”
    Oy.

    Of course, I am too wimpy to get one. I figure if they’re immunized, I won’t get it bcause they’re the germy ones!

      I am totally digging on your philosophy there! If they don’t get sick – I won’t! ;) And isn’t so funny that moment when they realize that needle isn’t the great-big meany they imagine it to be ;)
