Make We Laugh Monday – New Moon and Candy

Let me begin by saying…

I have not read one Twilight book.

Don’t hit me.

One reason is, I am not so much a reader of words on paper. Nor do I own a Kindle. And I also need drawrings to help keep my attention.

balance?

But… New Moon. The Twilight Series… yadda, yadda, yadda… vampires…

I was wandering the empty aisles of the local grocery store late Thursday night. I think there was a full moon. If nothing else, I just wanted some ice cream. I was there to get Ben & Jerry’s. AND jelly. The kids had been threatening to call CPS for all the NO JELLY in our house almost all of spring break.

In my defense… I was too busy painting to go buy jelly. I think the kids survived on bugs, crumbs and Pop-Tarts. I kept saying, “DO you want FOOD or STRIPES?”

Go ahead. Bow. It is bow-worthy.

I digress … the grocery store at midnight…. I looked at the Easter display and pondered playing Easter Bunny. Fun-filled Easter baskets weren’t just going to fill with fun on their own. But I was tired. And decided to hold off on my Easter Bunny duties until the next night… because a trip to Walmart late on a Friday night is always better than a trip to the local go-to market late on a Thursday night.

*slaps self silly*

*eyes go wild*…

But Thursday night… as mine eyes wandered all the Easter-y festiviusnesses of candy for baskets and the making of cavities… they (mine eyes) got caught. Not unlike a record with a big ‘ol scratch. What. What. What. What?

No they di’ent!

I said to my self, “Sumthin’ has got to be did!” I got my buyin’ on.

@Kearsie… these are for you. Eye candy. Literally. Be expecting a package…

that twilight guy

I know. “Package”… {giggle}

the other twilight guy

“Eye candy”… Heh. Heh heh heh…

Don’t forget! My 6 year Blogiversary is this Wednesday… In celebration I am giving away something VERY special! Don’t forget to check it out!

    Hey Jenny,

The walls look fantastic. I’m almost inspired to do likewise when I next get around to painting. I thought that I was being bold when I chose to paint my daughter’s room a bright color. That pales in comparison to what you have done. Who needs plain uni-color walls anyway? Great job!

    Food or strips? LOL Ray

  8. Holy. Crap.
    Them’s some fantastic stripes.
Its like a big wall of happy!

But I confess. I’m a book fiend, and I did get sucked into the Twilight madness. Not so much the movies (I still see Shark Boy, not Jacob), but the books? Yup.

You’re welcome to put paint on my walls and your feet in Wales any day.
