Ya never can tell..

I am great with child – child #3. I know what to expect, right???

Not so much.

When I saw my OB last week. I half expected to be dilated to 7, and be rushed to the hospital from her office. I was dilated to 1.5. *Thunk* (that\’s my head against the wall)

I\’ve had mild to uncomfortable to fairly painful, erratic, long, short, sharp and dull contractions (Braxton Hicks – I dunno anymore) since last Friday (the 18th)!!! Yesterday I reached a new level of uncomfortable-ness, and today have battled almost constant back pain. Not even Calgon can take me away from this!

The trade-off — growing my lil\’ kicker, puncher, hiccuper… Sometimes a bit of a painful reminder, but mostly a precious reminder that all this is happening for a reason — a most precious purpose…

I see my OB tomorrow… I know technically we have 2 weeks left, but… Lil\’ Baby, are ya ready to meet your family??? I really want to snuggle you — oh, and sleep on my belly:)

I remember the last 2 weeks before our twins came. We wanted them out SOOOOOOO bad, had to see them and hold them. A week or so afterwards, we thought why did we wish away our last bits of ‘normal life?’ Oh well, now THIS is normal…
