Who's Fabulous?

I guess I am. Well, at least the adorable and talented Heather  at Swanky Paper thinks I am!

Have you met Heather’s blog? Have you met her paper line? Delightful, and DEEE-lightful! She has created a lovely paper/stationary line. In her blog she shares about charming finds and just shares stories in a… a… delightful way. It’s one of those blogs I love to check in at because it feels a bit like sunshine there:) So thank you Heather, coming from you – this FABULOUS feels DELIGHTFULLY FABULOUS! Mwah! and MWAH!

Now I get to list 5 things I think are fabulous and 5 fab-o blogs I feel are also… hmmm… what’s the word??? Oh yeah – fabulous!

5 Things:

1. Glitter. Duh!
2. Alliteration. Freakin’ fabulous!
3. Floss. There’s just something about having that “clean ‘tween the teeth” feelin’. Not unlike that “peaceful, easy feeling…” *sways*
4. Pastries. Especially frosted pastries. Rows of frosted pastries. In my mouth…
5. Free money. *jazz hands*
6. Breaking lists with set numbers. *wink*

5 Blogs:

1. In Three Words. This is a brand-spanking new blog created by the same gal who created Blogations (another fave of mine). I love the concept of this site. You are given an image, a question as a prompt and commenters give 3 words to describe their thoughts. In the comments one finds depth and humor and surprises. I encourage everyone to check it out and put in your own… three words…
2. Ace of Kerry. This is my sister-in-law. The girl is the next Ace of Cakes. She has no formal “cake-design” training, only the skillz of her heart, hands and mind. In her blog she shares her crafty creations, all with wit, humor and directions. She’s funny and exhausting. But you can’t tell the “exhausting” part by her blog. You’d have to meet her.Trust me, she’s exhausting in a “gonna pee my pants” sort-of way…
3. Momma on the Rocks. There’s just something special about Jenn. One GLARINGLY obvious example is the fact that we have the same name. I remeber the first time I just looked at her blog – I fell in love… dots and brown and blues and pinks… my eyes said, “We’re home!”. We have since connected on Twitter and have just had a ball teasing and joking and wishing we could go to BlogHer in July… *sigh* We’re hatching a plan… we just need some supplies… and have a bit of training to do. Jenn, I’ve been watching videos on how to maneuver over security beams and such… I’ve been stretching too…
4. Where’s My Damn Answer. The ladies at WMDA are just a hoot. A diverse variety of reading over there. Well, if you figure … 4 women (Kristy, Cathy, Linda & Jody)… yeah, there’s gonna be LOTS of diversity! They’re fun, free-spirited and edgy! Yep, ya’ll are fabulous
5. Mrs. Flinger. This lady has pulled tears and laughter from mine eyes and gut. I admire the bloggers who are able to not only make me keel over in the most satisfying laughter, shock me with daring, but who can also get my mind pondering the depth of my heart… searching purpose… this is a fabulous quality to possess, and Mrs. Flinger’s got it

Honestly… accepting these sweet awards properly always come with pressure. I like to not just link to a recommendation, but I like to express why. But more importantly — I always feel like I am leaving people out who I admire and adore! Actually, I still have a list from December that I still have not posted! Yikes. But the love is there folks. I have learned so much, and I hope that as I am able to recommend those blogs I read, we can all grow our base and benefit from the talent, the passions, the love and experiences of our fellow bloggers out there… Big hugs to all {{{squeeeeeze}}}…
