Whacky
This how my baby girl gets when she doesn\’t want something. Sweet Baby Lucy and her six-month-old self is communicating beyond vocal measures. Sweet Baby Lucy uses both hands both arms to communicate \”Step Back!\”. She whacks her food (flinging rice cereal – good times… ). She whacks her bottle. She whacks toys; she\’ll whack the very hand that feeds her. Since she is only 6 months old (OK, 7 months next week,) her finer, more well-placed whacks are still yet to be seen. However, her passionate rejection follows a simple, deliberate pattern: arms thrown up and then arms thrown down. There is much devastation in such simplicity. Indiana Jones could more safely navigate a treacherous cave with a monster boulder on his tail than escape the cunning swing of Whack Baby.
