I thought it would be fun to bring y’all in one some planning… Deciding, if you will. If you come here often, you might be aware of the fact that I am not a good decider.
Plus, my blog is not all about me.
Aaaaanywho. Have 2 cents? Give ‘em. And I promise I will be back here to report on WHAT YOU DID TO ME AND MY FAMILY.

1. While at Universal Orlando with my family I will be experiencing Universal’s Islands of Adventure. I. Know! If you were an all-powerful genie, and this survey was a magic lamp — what 2 or 3 attractions do you wish me/le family experience? Sure, I’ll probably ride them all, but what ones do you think would give me the most dramatic gripping fearful awesomest story to tell later?
- The Incredible Hulk coaster
- Dr. Doom’s Fear Fall
- The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man
- Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls (water ride) (oh crud)
- Popeye & Bluto’s Rat River Barges (water ride)
- Jurassic Park River Adventure (water ride) (oh for cryin’ out loud)
- Dragon Challenge coaster
For cryin’ in the night… have mercy.
2. While at Universal Orlando we will be experiencing Universal Studios, as well. *BOOM*. Of the below choices, what 2 or 3 attractions would you choose were you me. Or were you you, or were I channeling you, or…
- Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit coaster
- The Revenge of the Mummy
- TWISTER… Ride It Out
- Disaster!
- E.T. Adventure (phone home…)
- Animal Actors on Location
3. FOOD! We are going to be a hungry bunch! There are lots of kid-friendly options for lunch at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. I like choices, but I have 3 kids… a boy tween, a girl practically a tween & a kindergartner. They NEVER agree. Can you help? Where do YOU think we should eat lunch? That way I can just say, “Hey. It has been decided.”

4. We are eating out at CityWalk one of the nights we are at Universal Orlando. I’m overwhelmed by the choices already (remember: not a great decider here)… Could ya help a girl out and just tell me what to do? P.S. I am not a huge basketball fan. That’s where they kick goals and such, right?

5. We are heading to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter while at Universal Orlando. Now this is a pretty easy one. We will be a moldy (yet sparkly), Pacific Northwest family melting in the Florida heat. I’m not kidding, 60 degrees turn my Little Northwesties into Vampires – “MOM!!! It’s so HOT. AHHHH! Where is that HEAT coming from? What is that big bright thing in the sky??? We are not nocturnal, just shaded by clouds most of the time… SO. Should we enjoy our butter beer cold or frozen? Apparently, great pride is taken in the resulting frothy moustache, so… plan on pictures-o-that!
6. And lastly… Wardrobe… Should my packing focus be on summer dresses/skirts or shorts?

I’ve been on that Hulk Coaster and it’s a blast! So much so! Do that one!
Then Jurassic Park cos dinosaurs are sexy like that!
Then the Dragon Coaster cos, well it’s another sexy beast!
Check out The Mummy-it sounds timely
And the Animal Actors cos animals are awesome!
Eat at Circus McGurkus because Suess rulz!
Then Bob Marley’s place I can only imagine the food is delicious! Yum!
Now remember when we talked about you packing me in a suitcase??? You don’t? Oh. Well never mind then…

Not a ride person but am food/eating person. Circus mcGurkus is so much fun to say, so it’s gotta be fun to eat too, right? (like how I make decisions?) And Margaritaville has to have margaritas, so that’s a given. Done and done. I hope you guys have a blast!
Love the Hulk coaster. Haven’t been to Universal since they opened Harry Potter, though, so I can’t speak for that. On the plus side, you’ll be within 90 minutes of me! When is this trip happening?
I’ve gone a lot in my life and here are my choices:
Question #1)
I vote for the Spiderman ride (if you are prone to motion sickness DO NOT ride the Hulk ride and then immediately the Spiderman ride or you will puke.) and the Bilge Rat ride (but you will get SOAKED on this one so judge accordingly…)
Question #2)
Definitely Revenge Of The Mummy (I usually ride it like 5 times in a row) and Disaster (Force someone in your family or you to volunteer for a position in the show- it’s so much fun and it will make for a hilarious video!)
Question #3)
I’ve never been a huge fan of the food there, but I’ve never tried Three Broomsticks, so it has my vote! Also, at some point in the day, get a churro- they’re pretty good and it’s a park tradition!
Question #4)
I’d only vote for NBA or Nascar if someone in your family is a huge fan. The Jimmy Buffet restaurant is a favorite of mine, and some nights they have live music which is always good.
Question #5)
I’ve never been to Wizarding World, but all of my friends always get frozen.
Question #6)
I live about 30 minutes from Orlando and today’s high is in the 90s. Wear shorts and a light shirt that covers your shoulders. Wear lots of sunscreen and pity the many people you’ll see walking around who are BRIGHT red (and try not to become one.)

How fun is this! I took my family a few years back. I am not a big coaster fan, but they enjoyed Hulk, and LOVED Fire and Ice. I liked the Spiderman ride (not as intense, lol) As far as the water rides, we loved the Rat River Barges. Yes, we got soaked and we rode it like 5 times in row becuase there was no line at the time!

My kiddo just went for gradnight, he said Frozen butterbeer was wayyyyyyyyy better, and since it’ll be summer, you’ll need it COLD! And shorts, totally, you don’t want your dress flying up on the rides! Food… we love Burger Digs in park (awesome topping bar, and shhhh.. you can take pickles with you to munch on!), and NASCAR in CityWalk (awesome happy hour! and arcade for the kids). I second the Churros! Gotta get one! Have a blast! Oh, and but the drink cups, free ice water refills and super cheap soda refills FOREVER! I miss UO
