Naptime Gone Bad

Whoever said “Silence is golden”…

never knew a 3 year old who was supposed to be taking a nap.

Above: The “Silencers”

Below: Only part of Silent Non-napper’s artistic creation

If one looks closely – one can see little chunkies on those sweet fingers.

“Chunky what?” Nearly an entire jumbo tube of glue stick. Good times…. good times.

If you can’t cry, you gotta laugh. Or whatever that saying is. I’m doing a little of both because I have SO BEEN THERE.

    Silence is a double-crosser, I tell you.

Oh lord. Naptimes do have that tendency, don’t they?

  3. I am laughing at this because it happened to me a few weeks back. Well, I didn’t fall asleep with crayons but my youngest daughter did. She loves to draw and got in her bed with markers and paper and went to sleep 20 min later. Her green down comforter, which I soooo love, is now tie dyed from the giant, uncapped markers that she slept with. Her body looked tied dyed, too…and it wasn’t easy to get off. I don’t believe there are “washable markers”. It’s not true!!! ::)

    Great post!!

I see marker drawn on paper in that first picture, so right there, I’ll say you’re lucky! My two drew on their toy box, picnic table and seats, AND there rug in just the past 2 weeks!
