Make Me Laugh Monday – Oh Holy Mother of Pearl!

There is very little to say about this. It stands alone. It’s only audio, but just close your eyes. Feel the passion. Take it to the end, cuz ya *might* be tempted to not. Finish. Listen. Crescendo with the artist. Go with him… Also, pee first. No. Really.

I heard this when I was driving the car. My husband played it for me. We nearly crashed.

Oh Jenny….. it’s a good thing you said to listen to the end, cause it was pure torture to my well-trained musical ears and I would have surely stopped way before!!! Yikes! Is this for real? Cuz if it is – hallelujah! And if it isn’t – well, I did have a good (if tortured) laugh.

    Merry Christmas!

I heeded your words and was greatly rewarded. Forever shall your name be praised because that was THE SHIZ!!! You may have been responsible for a turning point in my life, I haven’t laughed like that in months! What on Earth was your husband mining for when he discovered this treasure? Love you. You do good things for people.

And to think, this used to be my favorite Christmas carol.

  4. Oh, holy heck! I feel the need to keep regifting this treasure to all I love…even if they don’t end up loving me quite as much for it!

The first time I heard this I laughed until I cried.

Then at our church full of really old people (all 15 of them) where my Hubs was pastor, we had a Christmas concert. Which in itself was funny because 12 of us performed while 3 of us were in the audience. And this really old man named Gary was the soloist for O Holy Night, and he sounded little better than this mystery man singing. So afterwards we called him over and asked if he wanted to hear himself on tape. He said sure and we played this for him. hahaahahahah don’t worry, he was laughing too.

When I was in grade school the nuns told me to not sing, just move my lips. The nuns should have been his teachers too. Saved the world a lot of misery including him

You have to admit, the guy’s got heart! LOL.
It kind of reminds me of when I would listen to 45′s (records- for those who were born after the 70′s and 80′s- kindof like a CD, but bigger) and I would get the speed wrong.

May I send it out as an attachment in am email to extended family with a few words about the holidy… so they can play in the background for their enjoyment for the holidays ….????
Oh I wonder who will have the nerve to write me back with the truth?…. Endless possibilities here!!!!
