It is the last day of the year!
Happy last day of the year-ness to you! I was really struggling with what to post today. It is a very special day… the last of 2008… my last day of the Blog 365 challenge… Which I successfully completed thankyouverymuch. Yet I still wonder if I have been able to really show you who I am(s). I just hate to think that we have spent so much time together and I held back even one small ounce. I want to be open and honest… I want to be sure I wrap this wonderful year up with the perfect post.
Who… or what is this blog about? Yes… Me. And what kind of blogger would I be if I didn’t give you as much of me as I possibly could? Batten down the hatches people… for today you get to meet My best friend. We had a wonderful time together yesterday. We took lots and lots and lots of pictures TOGETHER. I want to share them with you. My BFF is vibrant. She is beautiful. She is smart and witty and loads of fun to be around…. She makes the world a better place… Because we look so much alike, I should tell you, she’s the one on the left.
I told you she was gorgeous.
This was our first moment together…

Girl. That’s wrong. No more kissin’ on the lips. M’kay? So glad we are on the same page.
Let’s blow kisses instead…
After we resolved our “greeting issues” we turned on the computer… I had some YouTube videos I just HAD to show her… but I think I must’ve typed in xxxTube-r-something, cuz we were in shock…
And because we are so alike, both our highly sensitive gag reflexes kicked in…
My BFF can be a little judgmental, and she questioned my character over that little “incident”… I questioned whether she really knew me…
I was hurt. I thought she knew me better than that. So we stopped talking for awhile.
But it didn’t last long… We cried that we hurt each other…
And we forgave… “I forgive you BFF!” Friends Forever! I love you man…
And we agreed that the next time we went online, we’d be much more careful before we look…
Because we are very deep, we dug into each other’s lives… There were some surprises…
Intrigue…
… and even a wee bit of concern as we shared our deepest secrets.
I showed her my blog and told her all about You… You had her riveted.
I let her read a few of Your comments. She was also speechless.
I just love my BFF… We always have a real time when we put out heads together…
Sadly, all good things must come to an end… and it was time for her to go…
I told her, let’s not cry… I was honest… I told her when she cries it make her nose turn red and that is not a good look for her. She was all, “I know BFF, you look horrible when you cry too.” We hugged and posed for our last shot…

okay i just posted my “last day of the year” entry, too, but it isn’t funny like yours. or nearly as adorable. and there’s no pictures. and no gorgeous twins. *sigh* new resolution – be more like jennyonthespot in 2009? nah…cuz there can only be ONE jenny…or can there? now i’m confused. better get to bed.

Okay, My darling Nieces….You are so creative…you need to be writing for a PAYCHECK!!! I wish I had your talent! You’ve such an imagination….have you considered children’s books?
