Good Mom
These are pictures of Olivia. This happened one night when I was so tired that the kids wouldn’t stop giggling – I just ignored them. The next morning, I found out what was so funny. Joel used Olivia as a human canvas.
Olivia’s face was covered in purple – moustache, stripes on the forehead, and even a little goatie. The lines on her arms were an attempt to make her look like a skeleton. I could cover the body markings, but a purple hue remained on her face… Of course, this was the lovely October morning of my very first MOPS gathering of the year.
Listen in… “Oh, my kids?… We’ll that boy over there, air-sabering the other kids is my son Joel. He’s 7. The little one, um… where is she, where is she? Has anyone seen Lucy???! Oh, there she is, eating old Cheeto’s off the ground. She’s 19 months. And umm… that little girl, with the purple face… that’s my daughter Olivia. She’s 4.”
I have no control.

LOVE it. And it looks like he even labeled her with her name as well. Nice.
