Ahhh! Gahhh! Squeee!!! Ahhh!!!
See that?
I’m excited.
See that!?
I. Am. S to the tressed!
See that?!!
I am REALLY reeeeeeellly excited.
Ahhh! Ahhh!
I fly out tomorrow morning to see Jen for the first time in 11… 12 years???!!! We have been friends all our lives, sans our first 3 or 4 years of life… I get to see her, meet her husband and kids, and see her parents. I’ve never met her wonderful husband nor her youngest 2 kids. Isn’t that just horrible!!!
And then… THEN, on Thursday, Jen and I will employ a yet-to-be-determined mode of transportation and haul our ever-lovin’-bloggin’-butts from Sacramento to San! Fran! Cisco!
EVERYBODY SAY, “HEY!!!”
Mmmm – hmmm. That’s right. Two mutha’s with a total of 6 children between us will leave the masses behind and we will be gettin’ our BlogHer Conference ’08 ON!!!
Hubbsies – we know how awesome you guys are. So!!! Mauch!!!
OK, enough. I have to pack and clean and clean and take my bike in for a tune up and visit a friend at the farmer’s market (she’s selling Sweetheart cherries!) and take the kids to VBS (but bless my precious Cindy for bringing them home to me!)… I really need to get a run in too… oh and there’s a shower to take and children to make breakfast for, and tonight there is a fun band playing at the waterfront gazebo…and also – I need to breathe and pack some more.
And did I mention my parents are visiting next week so I am trying to clean for that too? They will be picking me up from the airport, so I can’t even do a “mad 1 hour clean” before they get here! What woman doesn’t do a “mad clean” before her parents come for a visit? I guess this woman!
I think this post should win a prize for the most exclamation marks. Do you see that?!
! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Gah!!!!

Please, I am the Queen of Last Minute Cleaning.
Jenny — I just tagged you for an award. Have a great trip!
YAY!!!!! Only 20 more hours!!!!
My parents always know when I’ve done the “hurry-they’ll-be-here-any-minute” clean up. From my childhood they are familiar with my shove-it-ALL-into-the-closet kind of cleaning!
