A self-portrait: Obsession

You long to be close… even a moment of separation… perish the thought. You slowly lick your lips. You draw the succulent cup of warmth nearer, and nearer still…

It lasted at least 3 minutes this morning.
I have never acquired a taste for coffee; isn’t that crazy? When I was younger I thought, surely when I’m older, I’ll be drinking it, but here I am OLDER and I still don’t like the taste. I’ve often wondered what is wrong w/ my taste buds, both my parents are coffee drinkers as well as my siblings. And even crazier? I LOVE the smell of coffee!!
It’s like you have a window into my soul…wonderful coffee. I especially love drinking it this time of year when Coffeemate puts out its holiday flavors. Pumpking Spice, Egg Nog, and ooooooh Peppermint Mocha. Scuse me I gotta go.
You’re the only bloggy gal I know that can get away with regular appearances of the the word bomchickawowwow in her posts. I think I’m jealous.
I love coffee too. Although, MIL insists that it’s the cream and sugar I like and the coffee itself is an after thought. Hmmmm . . . she may be right.

I always wondered how to spell bomchickawowwow. I love artistic shots like these. I may not know how to spell bomchick…wowwow but when I saw this picture my mouth exploeded with BOMCHICKAWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!
