Ok, So It Is Not ALWAYS About ME
Today, my post is about my sister-in-law, Kerry. But rest assured (I know she is resting assured) that I will be able to bring this post back around to me. I will find a way.
So, if I can just say, The. Girl. Rizocks. The. Cake. World. No, she is not hand-forming frosting roses – Thank. Goodness. She makes cakes like this for her son’s 6th birthday:
This is a Star Wars sumpten-r-other (shame on me for not knowing!) I am not kidding. She made this massive battle warrior guy with her own eight two hands. The girl has got skillz. Jealous? I am… Not that I am unable do it – cuz I am so able… I am just too lazy (now see how I’m getting the focus back on me? NOW who has skillz? Eh?)…
Guess what she made for his party last year? Go ahead………. An entire Spiderman city, complete with sky scrapers, a street with yellow lines, cars (Matchbox, of course). Seriously though, she is a friggin’ artists and frosting is her medium.
The cake was so big, the adults had to stand guard while a short-bus-load of kids played dodge ball.

D-to-the-amn. I am freakin’ impressed. That is a serious gift. I will say now, I could not do that. No lazy about it. Could not. She rocks.
The Food Network (do I get something for the plug?!?!) has this totally addictive show called Ace of Cakes. Your sister in law’s skills are SO up there with Charm City Cakes masters, how cool! She should get a job with Duff… They charge like $500+ for their cakes.
Because I am all about sending people to different sites: http://www.charmcitycakes.com
AT-AT Walker, according to Noah, who “thinks so”. Now he’s hovering, asking if he’s going to get one. I told him it’s a cake, and don’t ask me to make one like that cuz I’m not doing it.
WOW! That is incredible! I agree she should be featured on food network
Love the cake..and shoes
My kids only talk in Star Wars…they live it..they breath it..all I can say is, “May the foce be with you” Does she take orders? I need one in a few weeks.
That is a cool cake, but I’m still mesmerized by the SHOES!
Kerry has mad cake making skills. That is edible sculpture. My kids loved the picture. Hopefully River will completely forget about it before his birthday rolls around…else I’ll be calling Kerry!
I LOVE YOUR SHOES!
