Roller Skating, Falling, Cupcakes, Oh My!
I fell at the roller rink the other day.
Did.
But I wasn’t on skates.
Not at that point.
It’s actually a little sad, really. Falling at the roller rink… while not skating.
Where’s the story in that?
A friend and I were moving tables so we could set-up our cupcake display. We were at the roller rink for a cast party for the children’s theater group… for their most recent show — Scrooge the Musical.
Here’s a pic of one of the signs we put up all over the county… It is this image I had hoped to fashion the cupcake display after:
So. We were moving tables and there was this patch of slickery slickness, and…

*ouch*
Right on my right knee. It could have been worse. Pretty much I’m just sportin’ a hefty bruise. I won’t be kneeling to pray anytime soon.
Aaanywho. The cupcakes. Thanks to a great team of bakers, a co-froster, “construction” help… and a vision that just happened to work out *jazz hands*… this was the end result:

Speaking of baked goods… Here’s a riddle. What do you get when you cross sparkle and donuts?
Wanna see that again? *bom chicka Wow WOW*… I had to take another look too! Looks like they made these just for ME!

I saw those doughnuts the other day and I kept saying to the kids: “look at those doughnuts”, “aren’t those doughnuts wonderful?”, “boys, look at the sparkly doughnuts.” They wanted green drinks instead.
I am VERY excited to see that I was not alone in my enthusiasm over the sparkly doughnuts!
