Favorite Things Friday!
I had this great post idea – anchored neatly with the finest of alliterative titles. I thought I was all “original”. Turns out the concept of “Favorite Things Friday” is as original as ketchup. Yay me.
Being the investigative “reporter” that I am, I Googled “Favorite Things Friday“. I just wanted to have proof. I wanted to bring my post before you and say, “Look at my originality! My creativity!” Instead I come to you with internet “ketchup”, if you will. Except for the fact that while standard and commonplace – KETCHUP IS AWESOME.
Heh. ‘Member that rap? Ah…. childhood. I’ve always been a wrapper at heart. Even as a blue eyed white girl… whose first experience with racism was against her (me). The boy I liked in 4th grade (3rd?) was Hispanic, and I was not (but my heart… if he only knew the Juanita Veronica Maria Carmen Montoya de la Cruz that lived inside). When he found out I had a crush on him he told me, “I don’t like girls that are white. I only like brown girls.”
Many of you know my passion for dance. My minionsMany A few have noodled me, by daring, “Proof! We need proof!” You want proof? I give you proof. But it may not prove what you hope to have proven. Let’s see….. how can I say this best? Ahhh… I believe WilliamTellHung sums it up best:

Currently, this is my favorite song on all the earth – of the all the earth. If you see me driving by in my car… I am listening to this song. If you see me singing to myself… it is this song. As I type, I am fighting back the urge to type the lyrics…

In past search keyphrase posts I list a bevy of phrases. I am going to be more picky here. Maybe. We’ll see. I have no set number, I am fueled by emotion, I have to read through over 800 phrases, and I am not skilled in the art of “deciding”. So. I am going to try to leave out the obvious: mail whale tail fail, marathon, triathlon, Jenny, butt, and the like. Rather, I will focus on… *screech* Did somebody just write “focus”. Heh. THAT’S funny.
The following are the ones that really caught my eye. The ones that evoked either an eye-rub, perhaps a mental “stalling”, showed me I am needed, or… no, I will not share the ones that made me gag… I will do my best to answer where appropriate. They came here looking. I am here to help the needy.

Happy last day of the year-ness to you! I was really struggling with what to post today. It is a very special day… the last of 2008… my last day of the Blog 365 challenge… Which I successfully completed thankyouverymuch. Yet I still wonder if I have been able to really show you who I am(s). I just hate to think that we have spent so much time together and I held back even one small ounce. I want to be open and honest… I want to be sure I wrap this wonderful year up with the perfect post.
Who… or what is this blog about? Yes… Me. And what kind of blogger would I be if I didn’t give you as much of me as I possibly could? Batten down the hatches people… for today you get to meet My best friend. We had a wonderful time together yesterday. We took lots and lots and lots of pictures TOGETHER. I want to share them with you. My BFF is vibrant. She is beautiful. She is smart and witty and loads of fun to be around….
