My New Gig… My First Fail

O.K. So. It’s not that my new gig is MY first fail. No. My first fail happened a looooooong time ago. Back in… Oh… the ’73. OK, maybe before then, but the first one I REMEMBER was when I thought I was quite the impressive crawler.

My parents had some friends over, and I thought I was THA. SHIZZLE. with my crawlin’ skillz.

I was fast. Faaaaast. I was… a force. I could have been the Crawling Derby Queen. Had there been a crawling derby and my parents entered me in it.

But that never happened. I digress.

That fine evening I remember truckin’. Haulin’ diaper. Head down. Mission –> ON.

I was AERO.DY.NAMIC. Emphasis on “NAMIC”.

And I would have broken that speed of sound had that laundry room door not gotten in my way!!!

*shaking fist to sky*
