Migrations continued… and Easter
A couple of comments got lost on my 3/21 post, but I will be able to copy and paste them from my comment notification emails.
My Flickr plug-in isn’t working… that’ll limit stop picture posting until I my Hubs can fix it.
We searched through new plug-in options for my blog last night. I am excited to play with all the new fun options… when they become options – like bigger pictures!
I am still on a very old WordPress version… a.k.a. “old school”, but not in a cool “retro-old-school” kind-of way. Jennyonthespot is running a bit clunky these days. The Hubs is migrating several other websites, so he is working feverishly to get them all up and working… And with the real life stuff, and more real life, it may take some time to realize a fuller potential here. I can’t wait to Pimp My Blog!
Meanwhile… Easter was today. I remembered. The kids never said anything about not coloring eggs. They consumed shameful amounts of candy. Contentedness.
Yesterday we enjoyed lots of interesting conversation about WHY we celebrate Easter. It’s a tough concept for kids. My youngest asked, “Are you gonna die?” I asked why she wanted to know. She said, “Jesus died on a cwoss.” That launched me and all three of the kids into the topic of Christ’s death – and why he didn’t “stay dead”. It was an awesome time – hearing their perspectives on how this “Easter thing” works…
