Cool site, soothing music, fantastic intentions, but the application can become its own biggest stumbling block. It's missing any tie-in with self-created rewards for accomplishing any of the stated intentions. It assumes that "organization" is the obstacle to focusing on well-being rather than the need for structures to support one's intention that go beyond the weak force of "will power."

It sends an email reminder (nice), but all the reminder says is THAT you have intentions, not what they are for the particular day. As beautiful as the UI and music are, the actual USE of the site needs to be exponentially simpler. For greater raw utility, it might make sense to have a full blown UI on the web, and a stripped down version for tracking, and/or a mobile version that allows access and update closer to where and when it would matter (to me).

One has to select the particular days of the week one intends to do each task, and there is no provision for "3 times a week" or "once every two weeks," or "at least one of the following 3 items." For example, if my goal is to increase my networking activities, on a weekly basis I want to declare that I will either go to an event, write a blog post, or perform a follow-up with a prospect. Any one of them will do for "credit."

Lastly, there did not appear to be a provision for the inter-relationship between goals, or to have deeper levels of hierarchy within goals.

I truly wish you and your product well in the future, and I have even pointed a few people to it to check it out. For myself, I would love to play with it longer, mostly to see the product grow, and perhaps contribute to its improvement. Something like a free year trial would provide you with feedback like this, and me with an opportunity to help shape a more functional tool for myself and my clients.

I would love to use MindBloom! If it can help me, I can help anyone! LOL! I find that setting goals is a valuable resource however, I get so caught up in so many things (in life 19 kids, hubby, school, blogging, etc...) that sometimes it is hard to keep track. I think this might be the tool to help me achieve success in my life!

I think goal tracking is important b/c it helps you break the big picture down into smaller, manageable goals. I am working to earn a trip from my company this year and by breaking the requirements down into exactly what I need to do each month, week and day (okay, so I'm a little neurotic, lol), it helps me to see that it is attainable! And I love me a good check-off list!

I would love to give Mindbloom a go. I think I will have a half green half brown tree and a few crunchy, crumbled leaves lying on the grass, lol. But I think it would be fun 'cept I guess I better come up with some goals then eh?
