Candy Cane Oreos, a Giveaway & Oh… Writer’s Block

**UPDATE! We have a winner! It’s the adorable Stacey at Our Wa Blog! Here is the Random.org timestamp!

Screen shot 2009-11-24 at 11.39.47 PM

Of course I wanted everyone to win! I know they are not easy to find! Thank you for joining in on the fun! You all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!**

Again with the writer’s block. OK, well I do have some ideas rattling about in my little head, but they are more soap-box-ish.

Not so much in the mood for “soap box”.

But you know what I AAAAAMMMMMM in the mood for?

Glorybealmightyonalltheearthhallelujiah.

I have written about these before. I love them. Con todos mi corazon. I’m so bi-lingual.

Forget rock stars. I gotsta get me summa them Oreos.

Now. Because they bring me SO much joy… and I am convinced they are a key Character in our quest toward World Peace…

I am going to give away one package of these puppies cookies.

YES. I am going to just give away a package of Candy Cane Oreos. Since I have no plans to join the Peace Corps … this is my genuine effort in making a difference.

WHAT?

And not just ANY package. No. An INTACT package. That’s a big deal. It will require GREAT personal restraint, but I do these things for You.

And Oreo is not sponsoring this. I am not reviewing this product. I simply have a love, a love that changes people.

I know, some of you are all, “I can just go buy me some… they cost like 2 fitty.”

I will have you know – these are not only SEASONAL, but it would seem they are not available EVERYWHERE.

I know. You’re worshipping me.

*gives time for worship of Jenny*

I truly believe Candy Cane Oreos will make the world a better place. O.K., or at least make taste buds super-duper happy. Hey, “happy” has to start somewhere, and for me it often starts with mah taste buds. #somuch

    And I get it about writer’s block…boy do I get it…

  2. 2 Courtney

  3. 3 Stacey

I have never tasted a Candy Cane Oreo. In fact, I have never heard of a Candy Cane Oreo. However, now I feel a great need to not only eat a Candy Cane Oreo, but to WIN a Candy Cane Oreo. Here’s to me crossing my fingers!!!!

  4. 4 Rhi

I’ve never tried these, so naturally, I should win.

  5. 5 Jaime

I didn’t even know these existed! How awesome. Oreos are *always* awesome. If I win, I will give them a good home.

    IN MY TUMMY.

  8. 8 Harmony

Can’t find these in Canada so I’d LOVE to try them!!! I twittered this too!

  9. 9 Kearsie

You know, I should totally win these because I’m the one who said you remind me of Cheryl Hines. Who I bet doesn’t even have access to these Oreos. So clearly, I should win.

  10. 10 foradifferentkindofgirl (fadkog)

Oreo has me at straight up Oreos. Then they were all, “Hey, check it! Peanut butter Oreos! Yep!” and then they got cocky and said, “Come ‘ere! Check out this Cakester, little lady!” That cemented my heart. I’ve never seen the candy cane Oreos, but I’d probably marry them.

  11. 11 Micki

I am not a huge fan of just plain ol’ Oreos… but oh… mah… yumminess! I am a HUGE fan of chocolate and peppermint together… so, Nabisco may have just won a new customer with these.

Perhaps it’s good that they are seasonal, heh?

  12. 12 Midwest Mommy

Wait what is this candy cane oreo business you are teasing me with? I have never heard of these ever and oreos are my all time favorite cookie ever, no joke! I must win and if not I am sending you a whopping $2.50 to send me some, lol!

  13. 13 Jen

They sound nummy, Jenny! BTW, if you’re ever near a Wegmans grocery store, try their Mint O’s (Oreo-like sandwich cookies)…they are faboo!!!

  14. 14 Tabitha

Ooohhh I want me sommah that goodness. I’ve never had the Oreo brand cookies, but Trader Joe’s has their own similar holiday-season Oreo knockoffs.

PS – I found you through MyFirstFail, and I’m pretty sure it was the highlight of my LIFE. You are hilarious.

  15. 15 Anke

I know, same question every time (but since I don’t seem to be lucky her, anyway it doesn’t hurt to ask, does it?): Do you ship overseas, too?
Anywho, I love your giving spirit, keep it up!!!
    Yo!

  16. 16 Beth!

Sounds yummy! I also found you on my first fail, and I can’t stop reading now. Gah.

And they don’t even SELL candy cane oreos in the UK. What is their problem? :(

Never stop blogging, you cool person you!

  17. 17 Rachael Butcher

I gotta get me some of those Sweet Angel of Yummieness Oreos…!!!!

  18. 18 Heather

Found my way here by way of My First Fail.. you are hilarious! Thank you for doing your part for world peace. Amen.

  19. 19 Jenn Parke

Random draw? What? I wass gonna pull out the “cancer card”. The card I have been reserving. I am only gonna use this “card” (don’t ya just LOVE quotes!!) when absolutely necessary. I was all excited, thinking this, ya THIS, the quest for the infamous, incredible and hard to find Candy Cane Oreos… Oh gosh… drool on the iPhone…

But since it’s a “random draw” I guess I better save my “cancer card” for another massive event in my life. I just hope there is something else worthy….

  20. 20 jubilee

I have looked and looked for those dadgum Candy Cane Oreos in my area. All to no avail. They did have the mint ones and I almost broke down and bought those instead. I will reserve caving for when I do find the candy cane ones – or until you send me your package! :)

  21. 21 Jenny

Yum I want some Candy Cane Oreos. I’m totally with you on the Candy Cane Oreos could be the start to world peace thing! Where do you buy them? I linked you on a my twitter- http://twitter.com/thumbelina05

Whoa, those look/sound awesome. I haven’t seen them yet, but I’m assuming they’ve got to be around here somewhere *looks frantically*, this would be much easier if i just… you know.. won a pack of these *wink wink*. Thanks so much for sharing with your readers!

  25. 25 Tamara B.

YAY…… we love Oreos and I have never seen these before. I bet Santa would love a couple of these on his plate with the ice cold glass of milke we leave for him on Christmas Eve.

Hi. I treasured to drop you a quick note to verbalize my thanks. I’ve been observing your blog for a month or so and have plucked up a heap of fabulous information as well as enjoyed the way you’ve structured your site. I am seeking to run my own blog however I think its too general and I would like to focus more on smaller topics.
