Favorite Things Friday!

I had this great post idea – anchored neatly with the finest of alliterative titles. I thought I was all “original”. Turns out the concept of “Favorite Things Friday” is as original as ketchup. Yay me.

Being the investigative “reporter” that I am, I Googled “Favorite Things Friday“. I just wanted to have proof. I wanted to bring my post before you and say, “Look at my originality! My creativity!” Instead I come to you with internet “ketchup”, if you will. Except for the fact that while standard and commonplace – KETCHUP IS AWESOME.

Aaaanyway.

I have been nursing a fever. A fever brought on by Etsy and I also suffer from a chronic illness called Graphic Tee Envy.

I believe this fever is fed by a virus called Not Enough Money. Pretty much, with a family of 5 on one income… the only way Mama is going to be able to feed this fever is if she eats her new graphic tees, and feeds them to her children. The family’s gotta eat. Ya know?

I want to show you the objects of my affection. If I cannot hold them, nuzzle them, touch them… tuck them into bed at night… I will write about them.

• From Etsy… People. I am not a science-y kinda girl. In fact, that is a queasy topic for my tender mind. However. I AM a scarf-y girl, and herefollows a cute scarf, with a touch of science! Its a DNA scarf!

I want her… Remmber that song by Keith Sweat?  Yeah.

Oh dear. I should pay closer attention to lyrics. I digress.

• And finally a find via my Google “Favorite Things Friday” search. This is, like MAJOR score-age. I happened upon Mommyzabs Favorite Things Friday post… which lead me to a great magnitude of awesome… from a site called The Bomb Mom. Fo. Shizzle.

I am rendered type-less.

And that my friends, is my very first Favorite Things Friday! Whaddya think? I have a little list started. From online shopping, to food, to recipes, to cute things I already own that I love, to bloggers… and maybe even THE WORLD.

Wait. I slipped into “world domination mode” there with the that last one. I think my alter-ego J-Bling is getting restless. I may need to let her feature some of her faves every so often too.
