That's when it's really go time (the leg will be numb by then) and all the reasons you wanted to do this will need to be in the front of your mind. Just think of it as one more of those cold, drizzly days when you did not want to go out there and HOW GREAT it felt after you did. And when you're done, have a few rows of cake and savor the moment! My oldest son is now 11, but last summer, we'd go swim at the YMCA, and I swear to you, as soon as he emerged from the locker room, the music would stop, the room would fall into a hush, and all you could hear was the low roar of girls whispering. I'd lost sight of him until I figured out he was in the middle of the gaggle of girls surrounding him over at the 5 foot area. I'm a wreck for so many reasons when it comes to my kids, but it's absolutely wrecking me to see him as a pre-teen boy!! I'm glad you're going to be up for running Sunday after all the practice you've been putting in. Seriously with the girls!!
