I’m impressed with your ability not to vomit nor to pass out. I would have been on the floor for sure. I have nearly passed out during all but one of my children’s births. It was so bad once that, during the important pushing phase of childbirth, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me. They then gave me my wife’s oxygen, before they finally decided to worry more about the birth of my son Benjy. It was surreal.

I don’t recall ever seeing a clock in a hospital, anywhere. What are they, Vegas?

Ohh… I’m assuming that beauty bark is that stuff they put under the bushes and shrubs, right? I used to get splinters from playing with that stuff. We would use it as ammunition!

It really is hard seeing our kids suffer. Poor baby had to go through a lot! I’m glad she’s ok.

Yikes! I got the So Not the Mom of the Year award myself once a couple of years ago….my daughter kept insisting that the white board at school was blurry (but only with the red pen). Her teacher said she wasn’t squinting to see anything. I was pretty sure it was my kid’s ploy to move seats away from the boy she was sitting next to. 6 months later is when we all realized what a caring and supportive mother I was when the school vision test recommended that my kid see an eye doctor. The eye doctor informed this all-knowing-ever-concerned mom that her daughter couldn’t see clearly beyond her outstretched arm.

Go me!

Not as painful as your situation but I really felt like crap for not listening to my girl.

Go bake a cake and you and Olivia can it by the row and feel good about it!

Poor Olivia! And Poor You!!!
That sucks royally to have to be at the Urgent Care for anything. It Double Royally Sucks to have to see your little girl suffer.
