Well. Nosie and I had a little “falling out” this morning. Literally. Either I blew my nose too hard, or I slapped Nosie silly while I blew my nose too hard… In any case, my nose stud Totally. Came. Out.
I didn’t even feel it, until I didn’t feel “it” - my nose stud.
I found Miss Stud and tried with all my might to put her back. Not so much. I called The Blozulfog. She was all, “OK, stick it in as far as you can and put your thumb up your nose to feel it come through.” In my mind, I was all - how on earth do I get my thumb up my nose like that???!!!
Blood.
Drats.
3 hours later, I entered a local piercing establishment. I walked in and announced, “I need professional help! I got my nose pierced not here about 4 weeks ago and I either blew the stud out or slapped it out and can’t get it back in!”
The nice man with 2-3 inch grommets in each ear lobe said, “Follow me.”
*thwap* *snap*
He went into action, slapping on rubber gloves like a regular doctor. He went straight to work as I laid back and gripped the sides of the lounging chair of probable torture piercing table. I have never had someone else’s fingers so far up my nose before.
Long story shortened… I did not need to re-pierce Nosie. But, I bought a smaller stud. Want to see? Wait a sec, lemme slap on a little lipstick… OK…

I really like the look of the smaller stud. The only drawback is it looks pink instead of diamond-y for the blood that keeps seeping out. By tomorrow I think we’ll be back on track, and Nosie will be back to her old, blingy, lovely self…

Keep up-to-date on the insane, the insightful, and the whatever…

My friend has a stud that “screws” in. She likes it because t cant pop that easily. Good idea maybe?!?!
Oh, and… OUCH!!!!
You know.. I would have put my fingers up your nose to help. Can’t wait to see the new nosie bling. Hilarious picture. I need blog lessons from you sista!
Liking the lipstick. MWAH!
Bless your heart! Or maybe I should say bless Nosie’s heart! That sounds painful. Earie is still quite tender, but no blood, and I can’t exactly blow the stud out of my ear (unless I got really really mad and steam came out…….hmmmm…….that might happen……). Glad everything turned out - or went back in - OK! I like the new little diamond!
Ouch I think….I can’t see it, I can’t see it.
Love the new nosie, but…DANG the putting back in by Big Grommet Man sounded throw-up-y! I think I taste stomach acid….
umm…ouch… and how can you not feel something like that come out? poor, poor, nosie!
Owie! So sorry to hear about Nosie :( Glad you got it in, and LOVE the new stud :)
And I bet grommet guy was about 20, huh? It always makes me nervous when someone younger than I am is in charge of such an important task. Like the kids in charge of the rides at an amusement park . . . um, yikes!
Hey, I was wondering - what program you use to help doll up your photos?
Ye-ouch!
That is exactly why I am not a good candidate for a “nosie” of my own! Yours is cute though, especially with that lipstick! :)
You must be a really aggressive nose blower. :) I wonder how many times grommet guy has to stick his fingers up someone else’s nose a day? Not exactly my dream job. Glad to hear “nosie” is all better. :)
