Let’s play a little, shall we? The direction of this post was influenced by a comment someone made on another Fridge Friday post. I “met” Liz when I visited this post of hers. It’s a great post – it’s about hit counters and page views.. and such… Anyway – the comment she left me read:
… This picture of your fridge . . . ha ha. You know in the UK (typically) we don’t have fridges like yours – much more modest – yours appears to have TWO doors and an interior like Aladdin’s Cave…
Oooh – Aladdin’s Cave! I imagine jewels… exquisite jewels… expensive jewels not bought at The Target… nor on clearance at Forever 21 and Claire’s… Fine jewels, glistening with gold and platinum… Huge diamonds… rubies… emeralds…

Canned cinnamon rolls have never looked so good…
Ooooh… can you see the emeralds as they grace the neck of my bleu cheese dressing?
My goodness. B to LING. Milk, it does a body good.
Liz also inquired:
I don’t see an ice-maker – which I had been lead to believe was a staple of all American fridges. Is it on the other side of the door?
I told Liz my fridge has an ice maker on the inside. My freezer is drawer under the upper double doors. This is something I have come to regret about our new fridge, but must live with it. Why do I regret it? It’s all about effort. If the ice maker was on the outside, then I wouldn’t have to open the freezer drawer to retrieve ice. If my ice maker was up higher, I wouldn’t have to bend over. That’s all.

We have a box of those same pretzels in our freezer! No bling in ours, tho. Oh, to be so lucky!
Oh how I love the champagne adorned with bling, you know I do. And I guess any food with bling makes me happy as I adore food more than anything.
