And nope… I’ve never done drugs. Really. I’m as clean as a whistle. Unless you count that second-hand marija-huana at the En Vogue concert – Grad Nite 1991. ‘91! ‘91!’91!

2008 is the 20th anniversary of my 16th birthday!

I am closer to 50 than I am to 15. This girl needs a Year Months of Celebration to deal with news like that. It’s a sobering fact.

Now, my birthday isn’t until late October, but why cram in all this wonderfulness in one measly day? This is my year folks. I’m wearing plastic bracelets again! I finally get to wear REAL Converse shoes! I have braces! I have zits! NKOTB is getting back together (By the way. Saw them. In concert. 1989. Grainy pics to prove it. Should scan ‘em and post ‘em soon…)! It’s a regular pubescent deja vu!

I can hear your cries of envy – everyone wants to go through puberty again… Wait until you hear about my actual 16th birthday. Ya ever see Footloose? Well, my story is not far off. It’s all about the dancing.
