So, those of you who know me… you know I love to dance. If you do not know me, you should be able to discern from the previous sentence that — I love to dance. It’s that simple.
Lately, I have found my boogy-be-boogy-in’-self drawn to the Disco side of the beat. I consider myself an 80’s kind-of girl, but I am finding that the funky Disco groove really let’s me get down with my bad self… A song that has surprisingly become a favorite is A Fifth of Beethoven by Walter Murphy. I like the groove, and the absence of lyrics means I can play this song anytime – in front of any audience (read: my kids).
As with any new dance obsession I adopt… I research moves. I found a lil’ something I’d like to share with you. So, in observance of my newest boogie-interest… here’s a little groove-tutorial. In Finnish. Groovy. Groovay…

Dear Lord, I cannot wait to get you to SF!!! Can you say, “shake your groove thang?”
I will confess to a wholly embarrasing love of Earth Wind And Fire. I even downloaded some onto my ipod.
Maybe I need to post about what I did AFTER this video… I moved on to break dancing and now both hips are bruised and my buttocks… well, I think I bruised both of them too. But we sure had fun “breakin’ it down” last night!
I DO want those shoes now!!!
I will seriously need Depends if I see you doing that at Target… LOL.
*My uncle bought me Dance Dance Revolution for Wii and I first thought of you and how you would totally beat me.
OMG! OM Friggin G! I can’t stand it. I just can’t stand it.

That’s my mission – to encourage compromised bladders everywhere to just let loose :)
