I went through a drive-thru tonight… and ordered a small. The total that was announced seemed a bit high. When I pulled to the window I said, “Now you heard I wanted ’small’…” She said, “No, you ordered a medium.”
I supposed she might have heard “medium” when I said “small”. You know, since “small” and “medium” start and end with the same letters… Or maybe it’s because both words have the same number of syllables. *scratch* *sniff* Is this a scratch and sniff post? Because I think I smell a little bit of sarcasm…
