Thanks to my friend Lisa (of Maternal Form fame) – Olivia got to see a bald eagle up-close and personal! She did me a big favor and picked up Olivia from school so I could finish my kitchen and bathrooms cabinet order for our new place!
She went to get coffee and spotted the young eagle. My dear friend has a passion for nature, so she acted deliberately. She took care of her young (and mine) by picking up her oldest child from kindergarten, “ran” home and got her camera (and a few baggies of animal crackers), grabbed her son and Olivia from preschool and headed back to where she saw the eagle. She was delighted to see the eagle had stayed awhile and she was able to get some great pictures… and Olivia coined yet a new term – “Bob Eagle”.
