Maybe, just maybe, I need to re-examine my priorities. I heard myself having this conversation with my son just last week:
\”Mom, can I PLEASE have Cocoa Puffs?\”
\”Joel, you CAN NOT have Cocoa Puffs until you finish your donut!\”
Somehow, in course of my maternal insanity, the donut became an essential food group… In my defense, there is some merit in not wasting food. Right???
