So True!

\"\"I have no idea where this came from, but it is a favorite attachment to my congratulation emails to new parents. 1 Corinthians 15:51, \”We will not all sleep but we will all be changed.\” Yes, this is taken a bit out of context, but . . . so true!!!

That Screamer

This is what Olivia calls our blender. Apparently, to her, it makes a screaming sound. She leaves the kitchen when I turn it on.

As if there isn’t plenty to tend to…

Between weddings, 2 a.m. feedings, birthdays, and the billions of other things that go on in life . . . we decided it would be better to build our own place instead of a house that is already built.

We have had the property for about 2 months now. We finally have a well! Gotta have water. We have a house plan, almost:) Now we just need power, the construction loan (minor detail - right?) and we need to start the permitting process. I wonder if we can be in by Christmas, hmmm . . .

Congratulations Are in Order!

My dear friend Sara had her ultrasound today. She\’s having a boy! Congrats Sara and Darren, welcome to the wonderful world of boys!

My friend Jen had a healthy baby girl last Wednesday! Congratulations girl!

My sister-in-law and our great friend PK are engaged! Congratulations you crazy kids!

My sister and her beau are engaged too! Congrats sis!

Big things are a-happenin\’. I get to be fresh out of pregnancy and find 2 \”flattering\” bridesmaids dresses for a post-partum body (it\’s not about me, it\’s not about me . . .) and Joel & Livi get to spiff up for a couple walks down the aisle. Lucky for me, they enjoy dressing up all fancy! Oh, and the kids get 2 new uncles in a span of 3 months. It\’s fun to have a growing family!

Too, too, too cute!

\"\" Baby jelly shoes!! Jellies were to my childhood as butter is to bread . . Julie\’s girls wore these, now my girl gets to! Thank you Julie!!! I can\’t believe how tiny they are!

The Tulip Festival

\"\" On April 22nd, we finally made it to the tulip fields. We love seeing the many styles and colors of tulips. We were fortunate there were some left! I noticed more dead tulips in our pictures this year.
