Thank you Sluys!!! You brought them back on weekends! Our family adores your peanut butter donuts. I know you said they are a bit difficult to make, and you have struggled to keep them a regular offering. So…. our family is out to spread the word on their delectable goodness! We want our peanut butter heaven to stay! Whoever thought peanut butter and a donut could be so lovely! Alas, we are addicted! A little latte, a little pb donut, a little heaven!

I am thankful for the urgent care nurse who got me another prescription without having to see the doctor again (I am pretty good at diagnosing this type of infection by now). Otherwise, I would have needed to go to the ER Saturday night – good times. Why do these illnesses always set in on holidays or weekends???

It\’s not as if this was the first time. It happened last year too.

Bad Mom!

At Joel\’s preschool, the kids put their shoes in their cubby and put on their slippers. Last year, Joel had Clifford slippers, this year – Spiderman. Both pair met the same fate.

Note to self, check the bottoms of your child\’s slippers. The tops do not tell the true story of the life a child\’s slipper has lead . . . Poor Joel, he finally told me he needed new slippers, but it looks like the slippers were done LONG before I was told.

We have 2 Darths in our home.

I spied a yellow spider on a new rose bud. I called the kids over to see.

Joel closed in, and wanted to touch the strange-looking spider.

I warned (because I am afraid of ALL spiders), \”Be careful honey. . . I don\’t know if that is a good spider or bad spider.\”

Joel takes on a dark, whisper tone (Yoda-like) and said \”Are you on the Good Side or the Bad Side…?\”
