Your hubby did a great job. Second, I agree with the survival mode of parenting. Its not all days full of warm and fuzzies, more like gutteral commands and stingy kisses. I try to find the little things, like singing in the car, discussing the difference in all of the PowerPuff girls, and what color Superman likes as the high point some days. THen the hugs are great.
