Don’t get me wrong, it was nice to be in a tropical climate for nearly 12 days. However, there really is no place like home. It hit me as I was driving into Silverdale to get a few errands done — eggnog latte in one hand, pumpkin scone in the other, knee on the steering wheel, daughter in her own filthy car seat, son learning in preschool learning wonderful things, heater on in the car, a blanket of clouds in the sky… OK, at least one hand was on the wheel at all times:) I love the Pacific Northwest…
